WHAT WE BELIEVE

Statement of Faith

  1. We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.

  2. We believe there is one God eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

  3. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His victorious and atoning sacrifice through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

  4. We believe for the salvation of lost and sinful mankind regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.

  5. We believe the full gospel includes holiness of heart and life, healing for the body, and baptism in the Holy Spirit.

  6. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

  7. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

  8. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

HOW TO BE SAVED

What must I do to be reconciled back to God?

Here’s what you need to do:

(A) Admit that you are a sinner and need to turn from your sins (repentance) Rom 3:23.

(B) Believe in your heart that Jesus Christ died on the cross to pay for your sins, rose from the grave and is alive today. John 3:16.

(C) Confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior (or Master) and invite Him to come in and control your life through the Holy Spirit. Rom 10:9
.
You may pray a simple prayer like this:
“Dear Lord Jesus, I admit I am a sinner and I need your forgiveness. I believe that you died for my sins on the cross. I now open the door of my life and invite you in to be my Savior and Lord. Thank you for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. Take control of my life from now on. Make me the kind of person You want me to be. I pray this in Your name, Amen
.”
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” (2 Corinthians 5:17)

What’s the next step?

  1. In order to grow in your faith, develop the habit of daily Bible reading and prayer.

  2. Be accountable. Find a Bible teaching church to attend and be a part of what God is doing in your area.

  3. Follow Jesus’ example by becoming water baptized.

  4. Share your faith with others.

We would love to hear about your decision so we can pray for your strength. We suggest to that you listen to our podcast on sanctification as well as join or bible study.
